Duda Farm Fresh Foods, Inc. in Oxnard, CA is seeking a reliable Class A CDL driver to operate a lowboy tractor-trailer, load and transport heavy equipment, and perform inspections and basic maintenance.

The role demands physical labor, safety awareness, and ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and overtime as needed. The successful candidate will have a valid California CDL Class A, clean driving record, DOT qualifications, and pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with clean driving record and DOT qualifications.
• Experience loading/unloading heavy equipment and operating heavy machinery is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with load securement, cargo safety, and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a lowboy semi-tractor/trailer to transport heavy equipment and materials between ranch and job sites.
• Load and unload heavy machinery such as Caterpillar and other equipment.
• Ensure equipment is secured properly for transport in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain vehicle inspection logs.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Operate heavy equipment for loading/unloading or site work when required.
• Maintain clean and organized trucks and equipment.
• Comply with all local, state (California), and federal DOT regulations.
• Follow all safety work practices and procedures.
