Job summary

North American Rail Solutions (NARS) seeks a reliable Class A CDL Driver to transport heavy equipment and materials to and from job sites in the Denver area. The role emphasizes load securement, daily vehicle inspections, and strict adherence to DOT regulations while maintaining accurate records and safe driving practices.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip checks, assist with loading and unloading, and communicate with dispatch to meet daily and weekly goals, while ensuring fuel efficiency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of proven Class A driving experience.
• Valid Class A license and medical card.
• TWIC may be required.
• Clean driving record & ability to pass DOT physical and drug test.
• Ability to operate manual transmission (13 speed).
• Strong safety focus and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Proficient with GPS and routing systems.

Responsibilities

• Transport heavy equipment and materials to job sites.
• Secure loads per regulations and ensure proper tie-downs.
• Drive up to 11 hours per day with a 14-hour max per DOT rules.
• Operate a Class A truck on flatbed/low-boy trailers in varied conditions.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document per DOT and company policies.
• Report safety issues and/or required repairs.
• Carry out basic vehicle maintenance to keep the truck safe.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Maintain official records for compliance (duty status, mileage, etc.).
• Adhere to traffic laws and keep the truck clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
