Job summary

Clean Harbors in Greenbrier, TN is hiring a Class A CDL Driver to operate heavy and light trucks at customer sites for hazardous waste cleanup. You will drive vacuum and other trucks, perform loading/unloading, and assist field teams while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Must be able to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and medical exam where required.
• Compliance with Respiratory Protection Standard per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.34.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks including vacuum, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs.
• Load and unload trucks and perform on-site manual labor.
• Keep daily logs, time sheets and reports accurate.
• Placard vehicles to meet DOT requirements and regulations.
• Maintain compliance with local, state and federal rules.
