Job summary

Clean Harbors in Thomasville, NC is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites for hazardous waste cleanup.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Must perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Able to pass background check, drug test, and medical exam as applicable.
• Respiratory protection standards per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks and perform loading/unloading.
• Maintain safety and compliance with DOT, state and federal rules.
• Complete daily logs and reports.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Site remediation and hazardous materials handling as required.
