Job summary

North American Rail Solutions (NARS) is seeking a reliable Class A CDL Driver to join our team. The CDL Driver transports heavy equipment and materials to and from job sites, ensuring loads are secured and DOT records are maintained.

Expect to drive up to 11 hours per shift with a 14-hour total, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and operate a manual 13-speed transmission. Strong communication and safety-focused mindset required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
At least 3 years of proven Class A driving experience.
Valid Class A license with medical card and ability to pass DOT physical and drug test.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

Secure heavy equipment and materials for transport in compliance with regulations.
Load/unload and secure loads for safe transport to job sites.
Drive up to 11 hours per shift with a 14-hour maximum under DOT rules.
Operate a Class A truck on flatbed/low-boy trailers in various environments.
Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain required records.
Report safety issues and perform basic vehicle maintenance as needed.
Maintain clean, organized truck and comply with traffic laws.
