Job summary

Clean Harbors in Thomasville, NC is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, tanker, dry vans, box trucks, and tractor trailers. This role covers driving and non-driving duties on and off site while supporting hazardous waste clean-up.

You will work in a safety-first environment with local DOT compliance, complete daily logs, and participate in training.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Must be able to use various mobile devices.
• Must be able to perform physical functions as part of the job.
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test and medical clearance.
• Follow OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and follow all safety policies.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks including vacuum, tanker, dry van and tractor trailers.
• Load and unload trucks and perform site labor as required.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Comply with DOT, state and federal regulations and company guidelines.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis as required.
