Clean Harbors in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to run a variety of trucks and work equipment at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers and roll offs, with driving and non-driving tasks in hazardous waste cleanup.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday starting around 6 am, with 8-10+ hour days and overtime after 40 hours. New hires attend a two-week Academy training out of state, with expenses paid by the company.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and able to obtain Hazmat/Tanker endorsements within 90 days.
• Background check, drug test, and medical exam required by position.
• Operate Class A trucks and perform manual labor safely.
• Must be available for emergency response and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Load and unload trucks and ensure proper placement of loads.
• Maintain logs and time sheets in compliance with DOT rules and company policies.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations and safety guidelines.
• Respond to emergency callouts as required by the site and project demands.
