Job summary

American Driver is hiring for a Class A CDL Driver with entry-level opportunities. You will run steady miles with a predictable schedule, typically 2,200–2,500 miles weekly, with no-touch freight and home every two weeks.

This is a full-time W2 role with reliable freight and minimal downtime between loads. Starting pay is based on CPM ($0.56–$0.65) with weekly earnings of $1,200–$1,500 and benefits after 30 days including medical, dental, and vision coverage, PTO, and a rider/pet policy from day

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and 21+ years old.
• 6+ months CDL experience or recent completion.
• No DUI within the last 5 years.
• No major violations in the last 3 years.
• Must pass urine and hair follicle drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and trip documentation.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.

Drivers on this account run steady miles with predictable pay and a clear schedule. Expect 2,200–2,500 miles per week, no-touch freight, and home time every two weeks that stays consistent.

This is a full-time W2 position with reliable freight and minimal downtime between loads.

Pay & Miles

• $0.56–$0.65 CPM based on experience
• Weekly earnings typically $1,200–$1,500
• Extra pay for stops, layovers, and breakdowns
• Pay increase every six months
• Weekly direct deposit
• Paid orientation ($300 on first paycheck)

Home Time

• Home every two weeks on a planned, consistent schedule
• Dry van freight with no-touch loads
• Approximately 60% drop and hook
• Mix of day and night runs depending on route
• Steady freight with consistent dispatch

Equipment

• Assigned late-model Freightliner and Kenworth tractors (2022–2025)
• Medical, dental, and vision coverage (start after 30 days)

Training

• Training available for drivers who are newer to the industry
