Job summary

American Driver is hiring Class A CDL drivers for dedicated regional routes across the Southeast. Expect home weekly with 34-hour resets, and up to 1,600 miles weekly on consistent runs.

Equipment includes modern 2022 Freightliner or KW T680, no-slip seating, and pay mixes featuring weekly gross pay, mileage, stop and backhaul pay, plus full benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 3 months of recent Class A experience (within last 3 years).
• No failed or refused DOT drug tests (ever).
• No terminations for safety-related reasons from your last job.
• Clean driving record: Max 1 DOT preventable accident (last 3 years); Max 3 total incidents (last 3 years).
• NO SAP DRIVERS.
• Note: Drivers living 50+ miles from the terminal must have secure truck/trailer parking.

Responsibilities

• Operate on dedicated regional routes with ~1,600 miles per week.
• Handle touch freight loading (1–35 lbs) onto conveyors.
• Maintain a safe, compliant driving record and follow company policies.

• Consistent Work: 1,600 average miles per week with 1–6 stops per day.
• Pet & Rider Policy: Available from day one.
• Weekly Pay: $1,600 – $1,800 average gross.
• Mileage Pay: $0.46 – $0.56 CPM (based on experience).
• Stop Pay: $230 per unloaded trailer (average 3 trailers weekly).
• Backhaul Pay: $50 per backhaul.
• Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and PTO (starts after 30 days).
