Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a full-time Driver for Fortify Building Solutions in Billings, MT to transport and deliver building materials to customers and job sites.

The role requires a Class A CDL, at least 21 years old, and 2 years of tractor-trailer experience, including winter driving, with DOT compliance and strong customer service. The position involves daily pre/post trip inspections, operating a piggy-back forklift, and handling heavy materials, with a focus on safety,

Formación

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• 2 years of previous tractor-trailer flatbeddriving experience including winter driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable).
• Must be able to drive interstate as business necessitates.
• Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Must be insurable according to company insurance requirements.
• Strong customer service skills.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.

Responsabilidades

• Transport and deliver building materials to customers, distribution centers and job sites using a tractor-trailer.
• Perform material handling to load/unload material by hand, forklift or overhead crane.
• Reconcile material requirements with shipping list and obtain signatures to verify receipt.
• Perform daily pre and post trip inspections and address deficiencies if vehicle unsafe to operate.
• Operate onboard recording system and adhere to DOT regulations and traffic laws while driving.
• Deliver products during the day using a piggy-back trailer mounted forklift (training available).
• Provide courteous, prompt, and professional customer service at all times.
• Position requires frequent standing, lifting and moving 60+ pounds.
• May be exposed to varying temperatures and seasonal climates.
• Inspect and clean vehicle to ensure safe operation and appearance.
• Assist in inventory management activities including cycle counts.
• Perform cleaning and housekeeping activities.
• Work safely and efficiently.
• Provide customer-focused deliverables and services.
