Job summary

Bunzl Indianapolis is seeking a Driver for 2nd shift starting at 4am. Compensation is $26 per hour, with Monday-Friday schedule and weekly pay. You will operate a Class A tractor-trailer, perform vehicle inspections, and deliver goods locally and long-distance, while maintaining safety and compliance.

Must have a valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and knowledge of DOT regulations. Excellent communication and time-management skills are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• A clean driving record per fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Lift up to 30 pounds and load/unload responsibilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Able to pass background checks, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods to customer locations, local and long-distance, in a timely and safe manner.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading and ensure items are secured.
• Report any vehicle issues to management promptly.
