Qualifications

Job description

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Class A CDL Tanker Driver for our California team. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

This highly motivated & safety-first individual will be responsible for operating Class A commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.

The schedule for this Driver will Sunday-Thursday with a 3AM start time. This position reports to Transportation Manager . This role is and is based in Temecula, CA but will require travel to Menifee and few times to Corona.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for local driving, with occasional long-distance routes that may include overnight stays. Safely operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, tankers, roll-off and box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations.
• Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
• Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills.

Basic Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Proficiency in driving manual transmission
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
• Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
• Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week
