Job description

A Southland Holdings company is currently seeking a motivated CDL DRIVER to join our team in Tampa. The CLASS A CDL DRIVER will play a crucial role in the safe operation of Dump Trucks, Tractor Trailers, and miscellaneous general work activities.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of and safe operation of trucks.
• Ensure quality of product delivered.
• Follow all safety and environmental procedures.
• Assist other drivers as necessary and report delays or problems to the dispatcher.
• Deliver products in a timely and safe manner, following designated routes to and from job sites.
• Maintain safe and mechanical operation of the truck.
• Operate all functions of the truck, including maintaining it after each delivery and preparing for the next day.
• Follow all DOT rules and regulations, as well as safety procedures outlined by the Safety Department.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Class A CDL License.
• Must pass DOT drug screening and physical.
• Minimum of 3 years CDL driver experience.
