Staffmark CDL Driver Opportunity in Tampa, FL

Staffmark has partnered with a Tampa, FL company to offer an exciting Class A CDL Driver position. We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team and fulfill this essential role.

Pay and Schedule

• Pay: $23/hr
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, start time at 9am

Qualifications

• Pass road test (administered by a qualified driver trainer approved by the Safety Department)
• Must have a Class A CDL
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• No more than 3 violations or accidents within the past 3 years
• Registered with FMCSA Clearinghouse
• Preferably familiar with west central Florida
• Experience driving 53-foot trucks
• Maintain a professional appearance

Job Duties

• Make between 5 and 20 delivery stops daily
• Load, unload, and move freight, lifting up to 80 lbs and exerting force up to 90 lbs
• Open/close trailer doors, hook/unhook trailers, and enter/exit trailers and vehicles
• Operate a forklift and perform pre-trip vehicle inspections
• Accurately count freight, complete bills of lading, fuel tickets, and delivery receipts
• Secure additional shipments and seek sales leads as part of daily operations
• Maintain regular attendance and follow all operational protocols
