Triumvirate Environmental seeks a Class A CDL Driver for our Raleigh, NC team to safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials in compliance with all regulations. The role includes operating Class A vehicles, inspections, digital logs, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to consent to background checks and drug screening.
• Able to lift 60 pounds and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles in accordance with regulations.
• Perform 2–3 overnights per week and on-call rotations as needed.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain logs per DOT.
• Secure loads and assist with loading/unloading as required.
• Communicate with dispatch and clients to ensure timely deliveries.
• Complete required documentation accurately.

You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

This highly motivated & safety-first individual will be responsible for operating Class A commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to box trucks, tractor trailers, and tankers in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• This role requires 2-3 overnights per week.
• Rotating on-call responsibilities as part of our Emergency Response team (optional).
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations.
• Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
• Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills.

Basic Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid ClassACommercial Driver's License.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a reliable form of transportation.
• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).
• Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday).
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis.
• Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts.
• The Driver position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and (add this part if they are on ER) responsible for taking on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety-sensitive.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Preferred Requirements

• Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is required.
• Previous experience in environmental services or related field.
