Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Class A CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products across local, state routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a professional attitude when interacting with customers and team members.
What you will be doing:
Operate a commercial vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Transport goods to and from designated locations efficiently and safely.
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Secure cargo for transport, ensuring it complies with safety standards.
Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and trip reports using ELD (Electronic Logging Devices).
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff.
Adhere to delivery schedules and customer service expectations.
Assist with loading and unloading when necessary.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly.
What you must have:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Clean driving record with no recent moving or safety violations.
Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations (FMCSA).
Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred (can vary depending on need).
Ability to operate manual and/or automatic transmission trucks.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds (if job involves unloading).
Strong time management and customer service skills.
Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug screening.
Nice to have:
Experience with [Flatbed / Tanker / Dry Van / Reefer / Hazmat] transport (adjust based on need).
