Job summary

Norfolk Iron & Metal in Ogden, UT is seeking a Class A CDL driver to operate our tractor/trailer fleet from Ogden and support other nearby facilities as needed. Distribute products efficiently and maintain DOT pre/post trip inspection duties.

The role requires meeting safety guidelines, having a current medical card, and the ability to meet physical demands associated with handling steel and related materials. Overnight routes may occur.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL and current medical card.
• DOT employment qualifications must be met.
• Safety-focused with ability to follow guidelines.
• Physically capable to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely.
• Distribute product to routes as dispatched efficiently.
• Perform DOT pre- and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer.
• Complete DVIR for pre- and post-trips and driving.
• Assist with loading and unloading steel and other supplies.
• Provide customer service in a professional manner.

Employment will be based out of Ogden, UT. Position will support, the Ogden, UT, Caldwell, ID and Henderson, NV facilities, depending on business needs. Some routes could potentially be overnight.

Job Description:
