Slifco Electric is a premier electrical contracting firm serving the Automotive, Heavy Industrial, and Mission Critical sectors, located in North Carolina. We are seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our Warehouse team and support both driving and warehouse operations.

This full-time role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Local travel is required, with comprehensive health benefits and retirement plan options available.

Qualifications

• Class A Commercial Driver License required.
• 3+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Experience driving a 53' Conestoga or similar equipment.
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to lift and move materials with or without assistance.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Utilize hi/lo and/or forklifts when appropriate.
• Monitor vehicle condition, including fluids and systems, and log routine checks.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck interior and exterior.
• Complete deliveries and pick-ups in a safe and timely manner.
• Operate various trucks including 53' Conestoga, dry van, 26' box or stake truck.
• Properly secure and strap loads to prevent shifting during transit.
• Maintain accurate and compliant driver logs as required by law.
• Assist with warehouse operations when deliveries are not scheduled.
• Support general clean-up and organization.

Position: Class A CDL Truck Driver

This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Utilize hi/lo and/or forklifts when appropriate
• Monitor vehicle condition, including fluids and systems, and log routine checks
