Position Overview

This is a career opportunity with direct hire and benefits. You will be home every night with no OTR duties.

Shift and Pay

• Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Pay rate: $28-$32+ per hour

About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of space solutions, operating a fleet of nearly 100,000 modular space and secure storage units. We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver for a full-time, direct-hire position with benefits.

Responsibilities

1. Drive a 3+ ton truck to deliver, relocate, and return units to and from customer locations.
2. Perform set-ups and knockdowns, install value-added products such as decks, ramps, and stairs.
3. Maintain service and safety of units during transportation.
4. Perform trailer set-up and dismantling at job sites.
5. Haul modular trailers and cargo containers to and from job sites.
6. Maintain logbooks, inspection books, and maintenance logs.
7. Perform trailer maintenance at the branch when not making deliveries.
8. Work 40+ hours per week, with the ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs and squat for extended periods.
9. Pull trailers ranging from 8', 10', to 14' wide to and from job sites.

Requirements

1. At least 1 year of roll-off or low boy experience.
2. Valid Class A CDL license.
3. Must be 21 years of age or older.
4. Current DOT and physical card.
5. Minimum of 3 years of Class A CDL driving experience.
6. Clean driving record/MVR.
7. Passing drug screen and background check.
8. Basic computer skills and good communication skills for dealing with customers, contractors, and team members.
