Job Summary

A highly efficient OTR CDL truck driver will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of more than 26,000 pounds. The driver will operate company equipment in a safe and efficient manner to minimize the risk of injury and equipment damage. Must have the ability to effectively engage with clients to ensure that their expectations are met. Scheduling flexibility with routes is preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Safely operating a 26’ box truck with a lift gate
  • Safely operating Tractor Trailers in and out of state
  • Loading and unloading company products
  • Operating knowledge of pallet jack and forklift
  • Compiling accurate DOT logs and reports
  • Reporting all delivery-related changes or problems to supervisor
  • Unload the delivery vehicle at the end of each shift
  • Obtaining appropriate signatures upon product delivery
  • Ensuring all safety policies and procedures are followed
  • General warehouse and other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • At least 1 year of driving experience with a Class A CDL License
  • Prior warehouse or related experience is a plus
Requirements
  • Class A CDL License
  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Professional appearance at all times
  • Physical ability to handle workload, including loading, unloading, pushing, pulling, stretching, and bending
  • Availability for flexible schedule including overtime and weekends
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or production
  • Excellent communication skills
