Best Line Equipment is searching for a CDL-A Driver to join the team at our location in Allentown, PA.

If you have a clean and valid CDL-A License and the ability to operate heavy equipment, we want to hear from you!

Job Overview:

• Transport equipment throughout the company and to customer jobsites.
• Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting equipment.
• Load and unload equipment onto the vehicle (may involve climbing ladders, walking on top of a vehicle and moving equipment).
• Reconcile truck shipping and loading documents including DOT documents (i.e. Logbook and Pre-trip Inspections Sheets).
• Interact with external customers ensuring execution of contracts and advising in proper equipment operation.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A clean valid CDL-A driver's license.
• Ability to pass DOT physical exam.
• Knowledge of equipment weights and dimensions as well as capabilities of our vehicles and equipment.
• A minimum of one to three years driving experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to sit for 30 minutes to 2 hours while driving, ability to stand for 30 minutes to 1 hour while loading/unloading vehicle and the ability to walk to and from the vehicle (50 to 300 feet at one time).
