Since 1967, Tucker Door & Trim has been a well-respected wholesale distributor and manufacturer of doors, windows, and specialty millwork to the construction industry.
Tucker Door & Trim boasts an ever-growing fleet of tractor-trailers making regular deliveries to wholesale customers throughout the Southeastern United States, including Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
We have immediate openings for Class A CDL drivers and invite you to join our team of drivers who build lifelong careers with us.
Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues, safety concerns, and perform pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections.
Ensure delivery schedules are met as scheduled.
Retain all necessary documents for each trip.
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods).
Ensure compliance with Tucker Door & Trim safety and company policies.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
Immediately report defects, accidents, or violations.
At least 18 months of proven truck driving experience within the last 36 months.
Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software.
No major moving or driving violations within the last year.
At least 18 months of Class A commercial driving experience.
This position requires sitting, standing, entering, and exiting trucks and trailers continuously for long periods. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Pay by the hour.
Pay based on ELD data.
Layover per diem of $100.
No more than two nights out per week.
Paid hotel room on layovers.
Monday through Friday schedule (no weekends).
New model equipment.
Paid training.
