Job summary

ABC Supply in Hawaii seeks a licensed CDL Class A Driver to deliver roofing and building products to commercial and residential customers. You will ensure safe handling, complete load checks, and accurate delivery documentation while complying with all regulations. This role offers home nightly and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A is required.
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly.
• Willingness to work on rooftops.
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required.
• Conveyor, flatbed and/or drywall boom truck experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials safely from the branch to job sites.
• Conduct thorough load checks before leaving the branch.
• Document each delivery with photos via camera phone system.
• Prepare and file required logs and government paperwork.
• Provide customers with invoices and collect payment on COD deliveries.

At ABC Supply, we have YOUR future covered.Specific duties may include:Treating customers in a friendly and professional mannerConducting a safe work zone during each job siteAdhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives preciselyDocumenting every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with our camera phone systemCompleting a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch, ensuring that all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of your truck are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulationsWorking in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set the materials and unloading themCompleting and filing all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely mannerProviding the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collecting the entire due amount on COD deliveriesResponsibilities may include warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials on to or off of trucks or into warehouse as assignedThis position does not require over the road travelSpecific qualifications include:Valid CDL – Class A is requiredThe ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly (your most common cargo will be 70 pound bundles of shingles)Ability and willingness to work on rooftopsPre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are requiredConveyor, flatbed and/or drywall boom truck experience is preferredBenefits may include:Health, dental, and vision coverage - eligible after 60 days, low out of pocket401(k) with generous company match - eligible after 60 days, immediately vestedEmployer paid employee assistance programEmployer paid short term and long term disabilityEmployer paid life insuranceFlex spendingPaid vacationPaid sick daysPaid holidaysPay Rate Information$33 - 38/hr.
