Job summary

ABC Supply, America’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, seeks a CDL Driver to deliver ground and rooftop loads and to keep deliveries safe and on schedule. You will document each delivery with photos, perform load checks, and work with the Delivery Material Handler for unloading.

Responsibilities include completing logs and government paperwork, providing invoices at delivery, and collecting COD payments where applicable.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A or B.
• Ability to lift 75–100 pounds repeatedly (70 lb shingles common).
• Willingness to work on rooftops.
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens required.
• Straight truck experience is preferred.
• Boom truck experience is preferred.
• Semi tractor and trailer experience is preferred.
• Trailer mounted forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct safe work zone during each job site.
• Adhere to delivery schedule and follow directives.
• Document every delivery with photos using phone system.
• Load check truck before leaving branch; secure materials and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with Delivery Material Handler for unloading.
• Complete logs and government paperwork accurately and timely.
• Provide customer with an invoice and collect payment on COD deliveries.
• Potentially perform warehouse loading/unloading as assigned.
