Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking a licensed CDL driver in California to safely deliver materials and perform rooftop deliveries. You will be home nightly and work with a team to ensure accurate loading, secure handling, and on-time deliveries across branches.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, regulatory compliance, and accurate documentation. Pre-employment drug screening is required, with benefits and growth opportunities at a nationally recognized company.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL - Class A required.
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly.
• Willingness to work on rooftops.
• Pre-employment and random drug screens required.
• Experience with semi tractor & trailer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safely to customers; perform both ground and rooftop deliveries.
• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor with customers.
• Follow delivery schedule and job directives precisely.
• Document each delivery with photos using camera phone system.
• Conduct thorough load checks and secure all materials per regulations.
• Coordinate with Delivery Material Handler to place materials and unload them.
• Complete logs and government paperwork accurately and timely.
• Provide customer with an invoice and collect COD when applicable.
• Potential warehouse duties including loading/unloading materials as assigned.
• This role does not require over-the-road travel.
