Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking a licensed CDL driver in California to perform ground and rooftop deliveries, ensuring safety from departure to completion. The role involves loading/unloading, documenting deliveries, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

This position does not require long-haul travel and offers benefits after introductory periods. Pay is $31/hour, with opportunities to advance in a nationally established company that prioritizes employees and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A.
• Ability to lift 75–100 pounds repeatedly (70 pound bundles of shingles).
• Willingness to work on rooftops.
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required.
• Semitrailer experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone at each job site.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and job directives.
• Document deliveries with photos using the company system.
• Perform load checks before leaving the branch to ensure security and compliance.
• Coordinate with Delivery Material Handler to place and unload materials.
• Complete logs and government paperwork in a timely manner.
• Provide customer with an invoice and collect COD amounts when applicable.
