Job summary

CORT Tradeshow and Events is hiring immediately for a Class A CDL Delivery Driver in Austin, TX. You will load, deliver, and install furniture at tradeshow and event venues and support event execution with strong teamwork.

Compensation is $26 per hour with a varied schedule including weekends. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within a growth‑oriented, employee‑driven company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A driver’s license in the state of residency.
• Minimum 3 months professional experience driving a tractor-trailer; 1 year preferred.
• Physically able to move furniture and lift 100+ pounds.
• Must comply with FMCSA regulations and English language requirements.
• Maintain DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate and pass road tests.
• Acceptable MVR per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks safely and ensure correct loading order.
• Plan and communicate logistics with the operations team.
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Drive tractors, box trucks, or sprinter vans to delivery locations.
• Install and assemble furniture at venues according to floor plans.
• Provide onsite customer service during deliveries and setups.
• Supervise temporary labor and ensure safety and client satisfaction.
• Perform warehouse duties as needed.
