Job summary

Orgill, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Company Driver for local deliveries with home daily schedules in Pomona, CA. You will be the face of the company to store owners, ensuring safe transport and building relationships along your route.

The role offers a base earnings guarantee of $1,550 per week plus bonus pay per stop or pickup, weekly direct deposit, and a Monday–Friday morning shift with weekends off. Refrigerated Freightliner tractors and fast benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with an excellent MVR and driving record.
• Endorsements: Hazmat and Doubles/Triples required or able to obtain.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Must be able to handle touch freight with pallet jack or hand truck.
• Willingness to install chains in winter conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and load security.
• Maintain accurate daily electronic driving logs (ELD).
• Drive routes safely and in compliance with state laws and DOT regulations.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or issues.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at every delivery location.

Position Overview

As an Orgill Driver, you are the face of our company to local hardware store owners and managers. You will handle dedicated local deliveries, ensure safe transport, and build solid customer relationships along your route.

• Freight: Touch freight—unloading hardware supplies using a manual pallet jack, dolly, or by hand.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and load security.
• Maintain accurate daily electronic driving logs (ELD).
• Drive routes safely and efficiently in compliance with all state laws and DOT regulations.
• Communicate promptly with dispatch/supervisors regarding any route changes, delays, or issues.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at every delivery location.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with an excellent MVR and driving record.
• Endorsements: Must have (or be able to obtain) Hazmat and Doubles/Triples endorsements.
• Physical Capability: Ability to walk, bend, reach, stoop, squat, push, pull, and maneuver items over 75 lbs using proper material handling equipment (pallet jacks, dollies, hand trucks).
• Chain Up: Must be willing and able to install chains when winter weather conditions require.
