Karl Chevrolet in New Canaan, CT is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician – Level B to diagnose and repair vehicle systems, with ownership of complex diagnostics and a path toward Level A GM certification.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of dealership experience, ASE certifications (A4/A5/A6/A8) or GM training in progress, strong electrical/diagnostic skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision. We offer GM training, competitive pay, and a team-focused shop.

Qualificações

• Solid electrical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use scan tools.
• ASE certifications in multiple areas or GM training in progress.
• Valid CT driver’s license and clean record.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair electrical, drivability, brake, steering, suspension, HVAC, and engine concerns.
• Perform repairs on most vehicle systems with minimal supervision.
• Use GM diagnostic tools and service information to troubleshoot accurately.
• Complete customer-pay, internal, and GM warranty repairs to factory standards.
• Document all diagnostic steps and repairs clearly for payment recognition.
• Communicate findings clearly to the service advisor.
• Support Level C technicians and share knowledge.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety standards.
