Job summary

Karma Automotive is seeking a Body Shop Repair Technician to repair dents and surface imperfections on vehicle bodies, preparing Class A surfaces for paint. You will use hand and power tools, precision measuring equipment, and BIW repair techniques to ensure quality, fit and dimensional standards.

In a fast-paced manufacturing setting, you will follow established VSOPs, work safely, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and metrics, while meeting daily production goals

Qualifications

• Dent repair knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Ability to identify and correct Class A surface imperfections.
• Experience with automotive body repair methods and tools.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001/ISO 14001 environments.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow standardized work instruction (VSOP).
• Perform Class A surface repair using sanding and filing techniques.
• Prepare BIW for paint shop and ensure quality standards.
• Follow safety guidelines and use PPE.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
