Job summary

Reyes Beverage Group in Chesapeake, VA is seeking an Associate Driver with a Class A/B/C CDL to unload and deliver products on a home daily route. This full-time role includes pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.

You will safely operate a commercial vehicle and related equipment, handle pallets with a pallet jack, collect payments and paperwork, and maintain accurate delivery records. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have 0 to 1+ years of driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid Class A, B, or C CDL (or equivalent in the military).
• Must be able to lift products from 25 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 170 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload and deliver products to customers; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle, conveyors, and carts.
• Operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment like an electric pallet jack or hand truck.
• Pickup returns, collect payments and pallets, and complete delivery/pickup paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

• Must have valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Must be 21 years of age
• Shift: Full-time, Monday - Friday, Weekends off
• Pay: Starting at $63,000 and then annual range salary of $65,000-$80,000 on a route.
• Routes: Home Daily with Local Routes

Position responsibilities

• The Associate Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our customers as well as pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
• This role must have the ability to safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts
• Drivers will securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
• You will pick up returned products including payments and pallets as well as completing delivery and pick up paperwork
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• 0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must possess a valid Class A, B, or C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driving experience in the military
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
