Job summary

Thatcher Chemical in Henderson, NV is seeking a Class 8 Diesel Truck Mechanic for the day shift to support our chemical manufacturing operations.

You will perform PM inspections, trailer inspections, basic fleet maintenance, parts tracking, and be available for call-outs. Prior tanker experience and CDL endorsements are preferred but not required; strong English and ability to lift 50–75 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience required.
• Working knowledge of liquid bulk tankers and valves.
• Tanker experience is a plus but not required.
• CDL with TX endorsements preferred but not required.
• Must speak/read/write English proficiently.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly and pass screening.

Responsibilities

• P.M. inspections.
• Monthly trailer inspections.
• Minor to medium repairs on tractors and trailers.
• Tracking and ordering parts.
• Inventory management and detail oriented work.
• Basic computer duties.
• Available for call outs.
• Tire replacement.
• Brake replacement.
• Troubleshoot & repair wiring issues.
• Basic fleet maintenance.
