Qualifications

• Established or growing national/international reputation as performer and pedagogue.
• Master’s degree in music required, or equivalent outstanding professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a studio of bassoon undergraduate and graduate students.
• Teach studio classes and reed making classes.
• Coach chamber ensembles.
• Teach orchestra literature and pedagogy courses.
• Participate in meetings, recruitment, and auditions.
• Engage in recitals, outreach, master classes, and service to the Jacobs School of Music.
