Job summary

Prysmian Group in Claremont, NC is seeking a Senior Controller to lead financial planning, cost analysis, and reporting for the plant. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 5+ years in accounting or controlling, with experience in SAP and coordinating capital budgets.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, ROI analyses, and partnerships with plant leadership to improve productivity, control costs, and ensure accurate month-end closes and compliant reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or controlling.
  • Experience with SAP and coordinating capital budgets.
  • CPA, CGMA, or CMA certification is a plus.

What You’ll Bring Experience and Qualifications

You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. You bring 5+ years of previous experience in accounting or controlling. You have experience with SAP and coordinating capital budgets. If you a CPA, CGMA, OR CMA professional certification, that’s a plus.

What You’ll Do
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and variances.
  • You will provide insights and forecasts that help drive informed business decisions.
  • Lead plant budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning. You will complete forecasts, budgets, and capital planning that include ROI analysis, expenditure tracking, and financial justification for investments.
  • Partner with plant leadership. You will partner with plant leadership to achieve productivity improvements, cost savings, and budget commitments.
  • Oversee inventory and product costing. You’ll ensure accurate inventory controls and maintain cost standards for all products.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. You’ll ensure all financial reporting is accurate through timely month-end close activities, audit support, and adherence to corporate accounting standards.
