Job summary

BSH Home Appliances Corporation – Top Employer US 2024 in New Bern, NC, is hiring a Clamp Truck Operator I for the 1st shift. This role involves loading/unloading at the Central Distribution Center, safely operating clamp trucks, and ensuring inventory accuracy.

A High-School Diploma and Lift Truck Certification are required, with 0–2 years of distribution experience preferred. You will work under a policy-driven environment, perform daily shift tasks, and contribute to safe, efficient warehouse

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma – Required.
• Lift Truck Certification – Required.
• 0–2 years of warehouse/distribution experience – Required.
• Ability to work without constant supervision.
• Experience using RF scanners.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, dock levers and related equipment.
• Labor Grade depends on experience, knowledge and performance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and inventory control understanding.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product at the Central Distribution Center.
• Follow BSH rules and procedures to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Safely operate clamp trucks and other handling equipment on the floor.
• Load materials into vehicles and secure with straps or padding.
• Record serial numbers and move materials to staging areas as directed.
• Perform order picking and maintain accurate counts on pick tickets.
• Keep work area clean and report issues immediately.
• Complete PM sheets for lift equipment before each shift.
