Job summary

Frontline Insurance is seeking a Claims Trainer in Lake Mary, FL. The role focuses on designing and delivering comprehensive training for claims processes, systems, and regulatory guidelines to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

It requires strong communication, presentation skills, and a track record in property and casualty claims. The position emphasizes ethical conduct, ongoing materials maintenance, and collaboration with QA and claims teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in property and casualty claims.
• Claims Trainer experience is preferred.
• Field claim handling experience is preferred.
• Must maintain Designated Home State license in good standing where applicable.
• Must obtain required adjuster license in new states as company expands.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills in one-on-one and group settings.
• Knowledge of company procedures, claim processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify professional and ethical behavior.
• Identify training needs and recommend solutions with QA and claims personnel.
• Create, develop, and deliver effective training using various materials including presentations, video aids, PowerPoints, workflows, coaching and other materials.
• Maintain and update training materials to reflect current practices and regulations.
• Conduct in-person and virtual training on claims processes, systems, guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Provide feedback on curriculum and learner engagement to promote consistency of claim handling.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedures and insurance regulations.
• Deliver high-level customer service for internal and external partners.
• Occasional travel and extended hours may be required.

What you can expect as a Claims Trainer:

• Exemplify professional and ethical behavior.
• Partner with Quality Assurance and claims personnel to identify training needs and recommend solutions for greater efficiency and improved claim handling.
• Create, develop, and deliver effective training utilizing various written and verbal methods and materials including but not limited to presentations, video job aids, PowerPoints, Workflows, coaching, mentoring and other educational materials.
• Assist in maintaining and updating training materials to accurately reflect current/relevant practices and regulations.
• Conduct in-person and virtual training on claims processes, systems, guidelines, regulatory requirements, and other topics.
• Provide feedback on curriculum and learner engagement/comprehension to promote consistency of claim handling.
• Maintain up to date knowledge and compliance with Company procedures, claim related statutes, insurance regulations, and other legal requirements.
• Deliver high level customer service for our internal and external partners.
• Overnight travel and/or extended work hours beyond regular business hours may be required, including weekends, holidays, during a catastrophe response and/or as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.

What we are looking for as a Claims Trainer:

• 7+ years of experience in property and casualty claims
• Claims Trainer experience is preferred
• Field claim handling experience is preferred
• If residing in a state where an adjuster license is required, must maintain Designated Home State license in good standing at all times.
• Must maintain adjuster license in all non-resident states where Frontline operates and an adjuster license is required.
• Must obtain required adjuster license in new states commensurate with company expansion
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills in one-on-one and group settings
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Skilled in Xactimate, XactAnalysis, and XactContents; knowledge in the use of Guidewire is beneficial
• Knowledge and understanding of Company procedures, claim processes, claim related statutes, insurance regulations, and other legal requirements
• Strong comprehension of policy contracts and proper application of policy coverages
• Self-motivated and adaptable
