NICO National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE is seeking a Claims Support Technician to assist with basic customer service for all Claim Operations activities. This role supports daily reconciliation, records creation in ClaimCenter and ImageRight, and responding to inquiries from agents, claimants, and insureds.

Located in Omaha with hybrid work eligibility after training. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years of related experience, basic math, and computer proficiency.

• Respond to status inquiries from Agents, Claimants, and Insureds; verify information for Medicare and Total Loss audits.

A Brief Overview

Supports various administrative functions of Claims Department including handling mail, taking loss notices, recording of information, preparing claim related correspondence. Performs daily cash reconciliation, issues stop pays and reviews check/draft requests for adequate documentation. May operate check/draft printer.

The Claim Support Technician provides basic customer service for all Claim Operations activities in accordance with Company and Claim Operations standards, processes and workflows.

This position will be located in Omaha, NE Office and eligible for hybrid work after the completion of training.

What will you do?

• Provide basic customer service for all Claim Operations activities in accordance with Company and Claim Operations standards
• Monitor processes and workflows, including but not limited to creating records of new reported losses in ClaimCenter and ImageRight;
• Respond to telephone status inquiries from Agents, Claimants, Insureds, and others; verify and maintain reporting for Catastrophe codes; obtain and verify required information for Medicare reporting; and verify information in Total Loss Audit reporting.
