Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent and at least 2 years of clerical experience.
• Proficient in alphanumeric data entry.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret information.
• Strong math and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, sorting, and indexing mail to claims files.
• Entering new claims and notifying supervision of creation.
• Processing payments of non-suit and WC defense legal bills.
• Posting reinsurance receipts into IDMS (backup to Paralegal).
• Processing various payments for claims files.
• Providing miscellaneous claims support to adjusters (media searches, mailings, vendor assignments, records requests, etc.).
• Printing checks and correspondence generated by field adjusters.
• Back up to Claims Administrative Assistant as needed.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
