Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years in claims processing, medical/dental billing, or revenue cycle management.
• 3+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of payer contracts, claims adjudication, and denial management.
• Proficiency with claims/practice-management systems such as Open Dental or Eaglesoft.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience developing SOPs and payer correspondence.

The Claims Specialist Team Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, performance, and operational oversight of the Claims Specialist team. This role ensures claims are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with payer and internal requirements while managing workload distribution and quality across an assigned portfolio of dental practices.
