Job summary

Wettermark Keith is seeking a highly organized Claims Specialist to join our Personal Injury Pre-Litigation team in Birmingham, AL. This role focuses on setting up client claims, sending letters of representation to insurance companies, and gathering adjuster information.

You will work with Case Managers, Client Liaisons, Attorneys, and other staff to keep claims organized, update the case-management system, and escalate coverage concerns when needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Communicate with insurance claims departments and claims representatives to set up claims, send letters of representation, and locate adjusters.
• Obtain and organize insurance claim numbers, insurance information, and adjuster information.
• Draft letters of representation to registered agents to entities responsible for our client’s injuries
• Document claim activity, communications, and updates accurately in the firm’s case-management system.
• Identify potential coverage issues or other concerns and escalate them to the appropriate attorney or team member.
• Work closely with Case Managers, Client Liaisons, Attorneys, and other members of the Pre-Litigation team.
• Maintain organized and accurate electronic case files.
• Perform other duties and assist the department as needed.

Wettermark Keith is seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented Claims Specialist to join our Personal Injury Pre-Litigation team.

The Claims Specialist plays an important role in setting up claims for our clients as well as sending letters of representation to insurance companies and/or registered agents of two entities responsible for our client’s injuries. This position involves making sure claims are set up with the proper insurance parties and obtaining adjuster information for said claims so that WK staff can assist clients with their cases.

What You’ll Do
