Job summary

One80 Intermediaries is seeking a Claims Specialist - Bilingual (Spanish) to join our expanding team. The role focuses on managing claims, coordinating with retailers and technicians, and delivering strong customer service in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, reviewing inspection packets, and facilitating settlements. The position offers growth within a broader Scottsdale-based insurance distribution platform.

Qualifications

• Intake process experience for at least 6 months.
• Completed existing training.
• Ability to process existing claims.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Computer and keyboard proficiency.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficient in call handling and soft skills.
• Teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily inbound and outbound communication coverage (phone, email, etc.).
• Manage inquiries and follow-up relating to entire claim processes including coverage, packets, technicians, parts, exchanges, settlements, and complaints.
• Review and monitor open claims and proactively follow-up to facilitate claim closure with high accuracy and customer service.
• Provide timely actions and responses to all communications from retailers, customers, and manufacturers.
• Receive and review Inspection Packets, determine warranty replacement or denial.
• Offer and facilitate Service Solutions for out-of-warranty or non-covered protections.
• Understand retailer portal basics and provide guidance on claims.
• Process inbound calls from technicians; document updates and required follow-up.
• Support Intake Specialist functions when required.

One80 Intermediaries is seeking a Claims Specialist - Bilingual (Spanish) to join our growing team!

How You Will Contribute:

• Provide daily inbound and outbound communication coverage (phone, email, etc.).
• Manage inbound customer/retailer inquiries and follow-up relating to entire claim processes (determine coverage, send inspection packets, authorize technicians, order parts, recommend exchanges, administer settlements, and collect complaints).
• Review and monitor open claims and proactively follow-up to facilitate claim closure while maintaining high levels of accuracy and customer service.
• Provide timely actions and responses to all communication received from retailers, customers, and manufacturers.
• Receive and review Inspection Packets from customers, determine warranty replacement or denial.
• Offer and facilitate Service Solutions to consumers either out-of-warranty or not covered by a protection plan.
• Understand the basics of the retailer portal and be able to provide guidance on claims.
• Process inbound calls from technicians - document updates and provide any follow-up action required.
• Supporting/performing Intake Specialist functions when required.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

• Demonstrated proficiency in the Intake process for a minimum of 6 months.
• Successful understanding and completion of Existing training.
• Ability to execute functions necessary for processing existing claims.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Computer and keyboard proficiency.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficiency at call handling and utilizing “soft skill” techniques.
• Teamwork Orientation.

Pay Range

$17.00 - $17.50 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
