Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience handling or adjusting Workers' Compensation claims, including multi-state claims.
• 1-3 years of experience with General Liability and Automobile claims, including claims processing, reporting, investigation, and reserves.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple claims and priorities at once.
• Comfortable communicating with employees, business leaders, insurance carriers, and third parties.

Responsibilities

• Manage Workers' Compensation, General Liability, Auto, Equipment, and Property Damage claims reporting through resolution.
• Partner with employees, business units, insurance carriers, and third-party providers throughout the claims process.
• Review Claims documentation, medical bills, payroll records, payments and reserves for accuracy.
• Participate in carrier and internal claim reviews and help identify next steps on open claims.
• Monitor Workers' Compensation claims, including medical treatment, investigations, rehabilitation and return-to-work efforts.
• Help employees understand Workers' Compensation benefits and requirements across multiple states.

Sterling Infrastructure is looking for an experienced Claims Specialist in The Woodlands, TX location. This is not a Hybrid or work from home position.

What You'll Do

Position Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of experience handling or adjusting Workers' Compensation claims, including multi-state claims
• 1-3 years of experience with General Liability and Automobile claims, including claims processing, reporting, investigation, and reserves
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple claims and priorities at once
• Comfortable communicating with employees, business leaders, insurance carriers, and third parties
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• 2+ years of college preferred
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus
