Essential Functions & Responsibilities

1. Receive claims, confirm policy coverage, and acknowledge the claim.
2. Determine validity and compensability of claims.
3. Establish reserves and authorize payments within authority limits.
4. Manage non-complex medical-only and minor lost-time workers’ compensation claims.
5. Communicate claim status with stakeholders.
6. Follow client and carrier guidelines, participate in reviews.
7. Assist with more complex claims as needed.
8. Maintain regular attendance and comply with safety regulations.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Quick learner with understanding of claims practice.

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Additional Information

Pay range: $51,807 – $83,551, varies by location and experience.
