Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of college in business or related field.
• Insurance, Business, Management, Finance or Accounting major preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical and leadership skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision; must be able to work independently.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Year-round availability: Fort Wayne HQ, 15–20 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week in summer.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now and in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support the claims function on special projects and reviews.
• Complete several control and analytical projects.
• Compile list of closed claims; create, mail and file letters as necessary.
• Consult with Claims Operations staff and leadership on monthly audit findings.
• Provide full-range of administrative office and management support.
• Manage and prioritize multiple assignments.
• Ensure all claim-related requests are executed with timeliness and accuracy.
• Utilize multiple computer programs to address departmental needs.
• Handle time-sensitive tasks with speed and follow-up communication.
