Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Claims Support Specialists and Claims Adjusters.
  • Ensure compliance with client SLAs and performance standards.
  • Manage high-profile client accounts, including Carefree Assistance.
  • Monitor claim inventory, turnaround times, and operational metrics.
  • Oversee shared mailboxes and client communications.
  • Coordinate collection of missing claim documentation.
  • Manage claim escalations and service issues.
  • Partner with Finance on payment audits and financial controls.
  • Maintain accurate claim payment records and documentation.
  • Oversee salvage recovery activities.
  • Monitor and report on SLA performance and account metrics.
  • Manage claims approval workflows and authority requests.
  • Ensure compliance with record retention requirements.
  • Oversee file room administration and office operations.
  • Manage office supply inventory and operational resources.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions. Aon Affinity's Travel Practice is a leader in the provision of customized travel insurance and protection programs for many of the world's most renowned travel companies. Our services include program consultation, brokerage and administration as well as data-based marketing, analytics and merchandising expertise.

This is a full-time, on-site Monday - Friday position located in our Plainview, NY office.

Job Responsibilities

Required Experience
  • Possess State insurance adjuster’s license.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is 68,000 to $75,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
