Responsibilities

• Investigate and assemble facts, determine policy coverage, evaluate the amount of loss, analyze liability, and pay or deny losses.
• Study insurance policies, endorsements, and forms to understand coverage.
• Work toward resolving claims; may attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as needed.
• Ensure claims payments are issued timely and accurately.
• Service the needs of agents, policyholders and others.
• Handle investigations by phone, mail, and on-site.
