Utah State Treasurer Unclaimed Property Division is seeking an entry-level Claims Examiner I, Career Service Exempt, to help return unclaimed property to residents. The role is full-time with a hybrid work model in Salt Lake City, UT, and includes a full benefits package. A criminal history check is required.

The position is entry level and schedules code AC applies to offices of elected officials. Location is 168 North 1950 West, Suite 102, Salt Lake City, UT 84116.

Claims Examiner I, Career Service Exempt

FT / PT Status – Full-Time
Benefits Eligibility – This position is eligible for a full benefits package.
Salary – $18.45 - $32.40 Hourly Wage
Remote Work / In-Office – Hybrid

The Utah Unclaimed Property Division seeks a full-time Claims Examiner I, Career Service Exempt to join our committed, creative, and enthusiastic team. We return tens of millions of dollars of unclaimed property to rightful owners every year. Our next Claims Examiner I will assist many Utahns in recovering their lost money.
