Services are coordinated and funded through Indiana’s network of Area Agencies on Aging and include the state-funded CHOICE program (Community and Home Options to Institutional Care for the Elderly and Disabled) and administration of two Medicaid waiver programs providing home- and community-based services for older adults and individuals of all ages with physical impairments; additionally, we support the development of alternatives to nursing home care and coordinates services through the statewide INconnect Alliance network.
Role Overview:
The Claims & Contracts Coordinator's role supports high quality, person-centered services for consumers by providing fiscally focused support for the Bureau of Better Aging's (BBA) activities to ensure appropriate, efficient, and effective use of resources. Your role supports full compliance with all applicable state and federal requirements in the provision of long-term services and supports and access to those services. This role provides contract and financial support of BBA grantees and contractors to achieve the BBA's objectives, supports the day-to-day program review of claims submitted to the BBA for payment, and prepares pre-contracting documentation.
Salary:
