Job summary

The role reports to the Senior Director, Claims Quality and Compliance and is remote with a path to hybrid models. Base pay is $134,136–$176,053 per year, plus benefits and annual bonuses.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in claims operations and regulatory language.
• 5+ years of people management and team leadership.
• Experience collaborating with regulatory agencies.
• Ability to craft data-driven, concrete responses.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate Oscar claims processes and regulatory inquiries.
• Lead analysts specialized in regulatory compliance and responses.
• Influence strategy with quantitative and qualitative inputs.
• Translate claims strategy into business plans and KPIs.
• Create structure to achieve program goals and SLAs.
• Collaborate with other departments on inter-departmental issues.
• Manage cross-department initiatives to timely results.
• Work with regulators, legal, audit, and compliance teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Supervise and train managers and staff as needed.
