Responsibilities

• Estimate parts and labor to repair damage, using standard automotive labor and parts cost manuals and knowledge of automotive repair.
• Identify objects, actions, and events—categorize, estimate, recognize differences or similarities, and detect changes in circumstances or events.
• Examine damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, or interior damage.
• Evaluate practicality of repair vs. market value of vehicle before accident.
• Determine salvage value on total-loss vehicle.
• Get information from all relevant sources.
• Communicate with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates by phone, email, or in person.

Job Responsibilities:

• Estimate parts and labor to repair damage, using standard automotive labor and parts cost manuals and knowledge of automotive repair.
